Hi-Lite Electric – Service Warranty Plan

Purpose

To provide customers with peace of mind by offering comprehensive coverage on parts and labor for all electrical services. This plan reflects industry standards and ensures customer satisfaction and trust.

Warranty Overview

1. Coverage Scope:

  • Parts: Covers basic electrical components supplied and installed by the company.
  • Labor: Covers the workmanship of services performed.


2. Duration of Warranty:

  • Parts: 90-day warranty from the date of installation
  • Service Equipment (panel/breaker/meter): 5-year warranty from the date of installation.
  • Labor: 1-year coverage from the date of service completion.


3. Eligibility:

  • Applies to all residential and commercial customers receiving services directly from the company.
  • The warranty is non-transferable and valid for the original customer or property.

Terms and Conditions

1. Parts Warranty:

  • Defective parts will be replaced or repaired free of charge.
  • Exclusions:
    • Normal wear and tear.
    • Misuse, abuse, or tampering by non-certified personnel.
    • External factors (e.g., power surges, water damage, natural disasters).


2. Labor Warranty:

  • Covers the correction of installation defects at no additional cost.
  • Does not include:
    • Changes in the system requested by the customer, post-installation.
    • Repairs due to improper use or maintenance by the customer.


3. Exclusions:

  • Work performed by third parties or unauthorized individuals voids the warranty.
  • Replacement of consumables (e.g., light bulbs, batteries).
  • Systems are not maintained according to manufacturer specifications.


4. Customer Responsibilities:

  • Provide proof of service (e.g., invoice, service report).
  • Notify the company promptly of any issues to prevent further damage.

Claim Process

1. Notification:

  • Customers must report any issues to the company within 30 days of discovery.


2. Inspection:

  • A technician will be dispatched to assess the issue and determine warranty coverage.


3. Resolution:

  • Covered issues will be resolved through repair or replacement at no cost.
  • For non-covered issues, a detailed estimate will be provided.

Extended Warranty Option – Residential Customers Only (Available with Advantage Club Membership)

Customers may purchase an extended warranty for an additional fee, offering:

  • Parts: 3 additional months for a total of 6 months for parts.
  • Service Equipment: 2 additional years of coverage for parts.
  • Priority service scheduling.
  • Annual system check-ups to maintain performance.

Dispute Resolution

The company is committed to customer satisfaction. Any disputes regarding warranty claims can be escalated to management for review.

This policy is effective as of April 1, 2025 and will remain in force until further notice.
