Lexi Coticchio, MA, CMHC

Lexi has an extensive background and experience in animal-assisted therapies, which includes training and volunteering with therapy dogs, and she holds a certification in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.

Over the past several years, Lexi has worked at several different organizations in the community providing crisis intervention, case management, counseling, and community support to adolescents, young adults, adults as well as veterans from all walks of life including those struggling with combat and non-combat-related PTSD.

Lexi utilizes several different treatment modalities including, but not limited to, person-centered and CBT approaches. Additionally, she is EMDR trained and incorporates this approach in the treatment of trauma related diagnoses. Among these other therapeutic approaches, Lexi likes to incorporate experiential techniques in sessions including, but not limited to, meditation, breathing techniques, therapy dog sessions, and art.

When not at work, you can find Lexi enjoying time on her farm, in the horse stables riding, or spending time with her family and pets outdoors.
